About the team

The Sectors Team is dedicated to guiding, engaging, and creating opportunities that enhance governance capabilities in areas where the AICD can deliver significant impact. By delivering targeted programs, scholarships, and initiatives, we support and strengthen directorship standards across key sectors including Not-for-Profit, ASX, First Nations organisations, and Board Diversity.

Bringing together deep sector expertise and program delivery capability, the team plays a vital role in building governance capacity across a broad spectrum of communities, ensuring diverse voices are supported, empowered, and heard.

About the role

As the Sectors Delivery Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the administration and coordination of AICD’s Sectors team. This role will see you provide administrative support across the team, and you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to various projects within the team.

Your remit will be broad and will include:

  • Provide accurate and timely administrative support to the Sectors Team including calendar management, agenda creation, scheduling, travel arrangements and other related requests.
  • Prepare draft documentation, presentations, correspondence and reports as requested.
  • Contribute to the establishment of sectors forums and manage ongoing administration.
  • Prepare and manage purchase orders, invoices, monitoring budgets and the consolidation and reconciliation of expenses.
  • Support project coordination as well as associated release of research and thought leadership by Sector Leads as required.
  • Work with the Scholarships and Grants Partners, to support the development and end-to-end delivery of AICD-funded scholarship programs to further the organisations mission.
  • Coordination support for The Observership Program covering registration, liaison, and evaluation.

About you

You will have strong technical aptitude and previous relevant experience, and you will champion the AICD “OneTeam” approach and values of: Accountability, Respect, Excellence and Collaboration. In addition, you will also have the following:

  • Proven administration and team coordination skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience with processing invoices and supporting teams to track budgets and revenue.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in navigating MS Office Suite and CRMs for efficient management and reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Sound reporting skills with the ability to analyse and present data clearly.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused attitude with a curiosity to learn and develop highly desired.
