About The Team
The Education team develops and drives AICD’s leading governance curriculum and education experience. The comprehensive portfolio provides education for directors throughout their directorship career covering contemporary and foundational topics that enable our learners to leave with practical insights. The Education Partnership role works collaboratively with the Curriculum Implementation Manager in the Education Portfolio’s Curriculum Implementation team. The Curriculum Implementation team is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of AICD’s curriculum to market. The team works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure systems, processes and metrics are in place to deliver exceptional education experience to diverse learners.
About The Role
As the Education Partnerships Lead, you’ll drive the development and delivery of education partnerships across AICD’s curriculum. Working closely with internal teams, you'll manage projects, contracts, and partner relationships to ensure quality impact, and strategic alignment that contributes to AICD’s education objectives. This role is key in integrating partnerships across systems and teams, requiring strong stakeholder engagement, strategic thinking and project management expertise.
Your remit will be broad and will include:
Establish and maintain a partnership framework that supports strategic growth and operational efficiency
Identify and assess partnership opportunities aligned with AICD objectives.
Collaborate across teams to define and implement quality, impact and commercial success metrics, and partner selection criteria.
Manage the integration of external education partnerships into curriculum development, delivery and go-to-market pipelines.
Support contract negotiations and manage partner agreements in collaboration with Legal and Procurement.
Lead cross-functional project planning, ensuring timelines, resources, and deliverables are met.
Drive alignment with AICD’s strategic and product priorities, including quality and commercial objectives.
Partner with the Curriculum Development, Product Management and Education teams to ensure program relevance and participant value.
Provide commercial oversight, monitoring revenue and impact performance of partnerships.
Facilitate internal coordination, ensuring smooth operational setup and delivery of partner offerings.
Gather and share market intelligence to inform partnership strategy and program development.
Act as a key liaison between external partners and internal stakeholders to ensure strong collaboration.
Continuously improve processes and frameworks to enhance scalability and sustainability of partnerships.
Represent AICD to partners and potential partners, professionally reflecting our values, brand and mission.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
You will have strong technical aptitude and previous relevant experience, and you will champion the AICD values of: Accountability, Respect, Excellence and Collaboration. In addition, you will also have the following:
Proven experience in managing education or curriculum partnerships, ideally within a learning, academic or corporate education setting.
Experience developing frameworks, processes or governance models to support program and partner delivery.
Strong project and contract management skills, with a track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives to time and budget.
Excellent stakeholder engagement abilities working across senior internal and external audiences.
Understanding of curriculum design and delivery processes.
Commercial acumen, including experience with revenue-generating partnerships and contract negotiation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, linking partnership performance to strategic goals.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability in building credibility and trusted partnerships.
Familiarity with education systems, platforms and operational integration of learning solutions.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver under pressure and adapt in a dynamic environment.
