About the team
The CRM team sits within the Customer Service and Technology function and is responsible for the delivery of CRM improvements and enhancements that drive operational efficiencies, user adoption and an enhanced customer experience
About the role
As an Analyst, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering the CRM that enhances the experience of AICD members and clients. Working at the intersection of business, technology and user experience, you’ll ensure real‑world needs and insights are embedded into the design and delivery of digital products and platforms.
Your remit will be broad and will include:
- Partner with key stakeholders and user groups to identify, capture, validate and analyse business and user requirements across digital products and platforms.
- Ensure requirements are clear, complete, consistent and feasible, adhering to organisational standards and templates.
- Develop high‑quality functional and non‑functional specifications, including system designs, process models, diagrams and supporting documentation.
- Translate requirements into well‑defined epics and user stories that accurately reflect user needs and product functionality.
- Continually review and refine requirements, identifying issues or gaps and providing clear, timely reporting.
- Support the deployment of new digital products and enhancements to existing platforms.
- Assist with the development of test plans, performance measures and user‑acceptance activities to ensure solutions meet agreed requirements.
- Contribute to the ongoing adoption and improvement of Agile practices across the full product lifecycle, with a strong focus on delivering value.
- Stay across emerging digital, software and hardware trends, contributing ideas to improve solutions and optimise development processes.
- Conduct cost‑benefit analysis to support informed decision‑making around proposed systems and enhancements.
About you
You will have strong technical aptitude and previous relevant experience, and you will champion the AICD values of: Accountability, Respect, Excellence and Collaboration. In addition, you will also have the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or similar related experience.
- Agile Certified, or with proven experience in an Agile project management environment.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar business and technical requirements analysis position.
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, SQL, Google Analytics and Tableau.
- Extensive experience contributing to the design development and implementation of software solutions, systems or products.
- Extensive experience creating systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language.
- Extensive experience applying analytical and statistical skills to systems issues and products.
- Extensive experience working within Agile environments with a heavy emphasis on user stories and acceptance criteria through to deployment.
