About the role
In this role, you’ll design, deliver and evolve membership products and features that enhance member value and support AICD’s Membership Product Vision. You’ll apply human-centred design and product management practices to translate member needs into scalable solutions, helping create a cohesive and engaging membership experience across the member lifecycle.
Your remit will be broad and will include:
- Support the maintenance of the Membership Reimagined product portfolio.
- Deliver end-to-end membership product initiatives, from discovery through to launch and ongoing optimisation.
- Manage a defined membership product area and associated features, ensuring alignment with the broader Membership Value Proposition and product roadmap.
- Translate product strategy and roadmap priorities into actionable requirements, user stories and delivery plans.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define, prioritise and deliver product enhancements that improve member value and business outcomes.
- Apply human-centred design principles to identify member needs, pain points and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with product designers, stakeholders, delivery teams and subject matter experts to develop and refine product features.
- Use qualitative and quantitative data, member feedback, behavioural data and performance metrics to inform product recommendations and continuous improvement.
- Monitor product performance against agreed objectives and KPIs, including engagement, adoption, satisfaction and business outcomes.
- Support quality assurance activities to ensure products meet member expectations and business requirements.
What you bring to the role
You are a collaborative and curious product professional who enjoys solving customer problems and creating meaningful experiences. You bring a strong member or customer focus, are comfortable working with data and insights, and can build productive relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy balancing strategic thinking with delivery, and are motivated by improving products, services and experiences that make a real difference.
You will champion the AICD “OneTeam” approach and values of: Accountability, Respect, Excellence and Collaboration. In addition, you will also have the following:
- Demonstrated experience in product management, customer experience, service design, proposition development or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of human-centred design and customer/member-centric product development.
- Experience translating strategic priorities and customer insights into delivered products, services or initiatives.
- Experience gathering and validating customer or member needs through research, testing, feedback and data analysis.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
- Analytical capability and the ability to use qualitative and quantitative insights to inform decisions.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of value creation through product and service design.
- Familiarity with Agile product development and delivery practices.
- Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- A continuous improvement mindset and passion for creating exceptional member experiences.
